Defendant’s conviction of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury (Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 265, § 15A(c)(i)) was not duplicative of his conviction of armed assault with intent to murder (Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 265, § 18(b)), as each offense required proof of an additional element that the other did not.
